Our Library/Media Center  promotes learning through a multitude of resources, from literature and reference materials to CD-ROMs and online databases. We invite you to explore and learn along with us. Sixteen computers are available for internet research. Internet usage is monitored by a security system which requires each student to use a password. The system provides virus protection and safety during research. Students are encouraged to use MAGNOLIA DATABASES for research. Login username is magn0897. The State of Mississippi has made this research tool, which consists of full-text resources of encyclopedias, reference books, magazines, newspapers, literary databases etc., available for home and school. Concourse, the automated catalog system, allows access to the SJS automated card catalog throughout the school facility. All Media materials can be searched--books, periodicals, videos, etc. New materials are added to the SJS collection throughout the year and are selected to enhance classroom instruction. The Library/Media Center is currently managed by Mrs. Cindy Bennett.
